It is God's desire that everyone worship Him.  In order to do that, we must be one of His adopted children.  This is possible only through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary.  This means he has paid the penalty for our sins.  We don't have to pay.  Because of this, we can come before Him and humbly ask forgiveness for our sins, surrendering ourselves to His purpose for His glory.  This is our first act of worship. 

 

At First Baptist Heath we continue this worship by gathering together each Sunday to sing songs of praise to Him, to study His word (the Bible), to give our tithes and offerings for His work, and to allow His Holy Spirit to speak to us about what we have learned this week.
