Welcome to Kids Ministry

Children are an essential part of the ministry at First Baptist. From Sunday morning HYFI, VBS in the Summer, Children’s Camp, and weekly Kid’s Worship there are plenty of opportunities for your kids to learn about God in a fun and exciting way.

Our goal as a church is to come alongside you the parent to help, equip and encourage you as you teach your children to know and love God. We highly value the safety of all children. We have a secure check in system for all children’s events and all children’s ministry leaders and workers have completed a background check and child safety training.

Kids Ministry Schedule

Sunday School
9:30 am

Classes are available for Pre-K through 5th Grade. In Sunday school your child will find a safe and fun environment where they learn about God alongside friends their own age. In class, they will sing songs, do crafts and have a weekly Bible lesson.

Hyfi
Sunday 10:30am

Children through 3rd grade are encouraged to come to our HYFI program that is all about real connection and true belonging. Each week kids will connect with God and find belonging with one another as we engage with the Bible and have a ton of fun!

Children of any age are always welcome to join the Worship Center for the main worship service.


Elementary Events
Grades K-5th

Elementary Events take place every 4–6 weeks to help kids stay connected, build lasting friendships, and continue growing in their faith. Each event features fun activities, games, and biblical teaching in a welcoming environment where children can deepen their relationship with Jesus while having a great time together.

Infants

Nursery is available for infants and babies. We ensure safe check in process to secure the classroom area, as well as check tags for check out process, so you can have peace of mind while worshipping.

Preschool

Classes are available starting even with infants!. In Sunday school your child will find a safe and fun environment where they learn about God alongside friends their own age. In class, they will sing songs, do crafts and have a weekly Bible lesson.

K-3rd Grade

All Kids Kindergarten through the 3rd grade are invited to join us every Sunday morning for a fun time of Kid’s Hyfi, where they will sing worship songs, and hear a Bible message from one of our pastors or ministry leaders. Parents are always welcome in Kid’s Worship and children of any age are always welcome to join us in the Worship Center for the main worship service.
