Starting Point
Course Overview
Starting Point is designed for those who want to learn more about FBC Heath as well as those seeking to become members. The class is divided into 3 course sections: Who We Are, What We Believe, and Where Are We Going. For each section, there is a course video followed by a short answer question for you to respond to the content. If you are pursuing membership with First Baptist, then you will need to complete each short answer section.
Session 1
Who We Are
In this session, we review the history of our church, introduce the leadership and staff, and lay out the mission of our church family.
Session 2
What We Believe
In this session, we walk through important beliefs that ground us and guide us through the mission God has given First Baptist Heath. Topics include the Bible, the trinity, and salvation.
Session 3
Where We Are Going
In this session, we look at the many different ways in which you can serve within our church family as well as discover ministry opportunities with our mission partners across the street and around the world.
